HRCI Ethics Credits from VTR Learning

In January of 2021, HRCI implemented a new standard for members looking to renew their licenses. So now, all licensees must complete at least one full ethics credit every recertification cycle. However, since there is no designated course to accomplish this, members are free to take one of their choosing. In an effort to help meet this need, VTR Learning has partnered with an organization called Executive Finance. Though the courses offered are typically for accountants and finance experts, several cover general ethics practices. And because these courses help develop good moral frameworks, they’re perfect for business professionals of all kinds. So, if you’re looking for HRCI Ethics credits, you might want to check them out. Admittedly, they’re worth more credit than the one-hour requirement. But since the full amount will count toward license recertification, you can knock out two birds with one stone.

The Principles of Ethical Leadership

Many people think of ethical leadership on a grand scale. In other words, they focus on prominent figures who were either great or terrible moral authorities. But ethical leadership is far more granular than that. True, it impacts the leaders of nations, but it’s just as important for team heads at small businesses. Because, no matter the organization or group, ethical leadership is paramount to success. That doesn’t mean people should only be morally upstanding because of the benefits. But because ethical leadership represents the capstone of any thriving business in modern society, you cannot overlook or ignore it.

In this course, you will begin to understand how moral decisions influence one’s ability to lead others well. And potentially more so, how different actions directly impact followers and corporate culture. Practically speaking, you will explore twenty different principles of ethical leadership that can be applied immediately. And with these in mind, you will construct an ethical framework that will thrive in the modern business context.

The Principles of Ethical Leadership costs $89, and can be completed for 7 HRCI Ethics credits and SHRM PDCs. For more information on this course, check out the details page.

Mastering Your Ethical Intelligence

Wanting to do the right thing is a great start toward ethical leadership and management, but it also isn’t enough. Because unless you know what the right thing to do is, why you should do it and how to do it, you’ll be stuck in the sand. Developing your ethical intelligence is the core of good leadership, and without it, teams and organizations put themselves at risk.

This course focuses on developing awareness of different ethical dilemmas you can expect to face in business. And more importantly, you will know how to meet and overcome those challenges. But learners also have the chance to see how lapse in judgment has led to the implosion of real-world organizations. Finally, you will get a sense of how ethical judgment and leadership contributes to thriving corporate cultures.

HRCI and SHRM both accredit Mastering Your Ethical Intelligence for 6 HRCI Ethics Credits and SHRM PDCs. And at $79, it’s a great way to knock out the new requirement. Check out the course details page for more information.
