APA does not limit the amount of Recertification Credit Hours (RCH) you can earn with VTR’s self-study courses. Our course offerings for the APA are far larger than just the topic of Accounting, including Management, Human Resources, and even Business Strategy.
- APA requires a passing score of 80% or higher for each module.
Are you a member of ASAE? VTR Learning is an approved provider for ASAE and included on ASAE’s CAE approved provider page. ASAE limits self-study to 20 credits per 3-year period.

We currently offer dozens of HRCI Business CEUs, Global CEUs, and HR (General) CEUs with a wide range of topics such as Accounting and Business Strategy. SHRM does not limit the amount of PDCs you can earn with VTR’s self-study courses, which is great. And if you are dually accredited with HRCI you will be able to take the same course to satisfy both organizations.
- SHRM requires full course completion but does not require a specific score to pass and receive their certificate of completion.
How to Submit Your Credits for Recertification
Once you complete a course, your certificate of completion and activity ID will arrive immediately. Submit this information to your accreditation organization as well as your state’s Department of Professional Licensing to count them toward your membership and state recertification requirements.
Are you dually accredited? Find out more about how that works in the Help Center.
